५९ तमी अखिलभारतीयशास्त्रीयस्पर्धा केन्द्रीयसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयद्वारा कर्नाटकसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयस्य आतिथ्येन अस्य मार्च् मासस्य २७ तः ३० दिनाङ्गपर्यन्तं बेङ्गलूरुनगरस्थे उत्तरादिमठे आयोजयिष्यते । अस्यां स्पर्धायां पञ्चशताधिकाः स्पर्धालवः नानाराज्यात्समागताः भागमावहन्ति । किञ्च इमे छात्राः प्रत्येकं राज्यस्तरीयशास्त्रीयस्पर्धायां प्रथमस्थानभाजः सन्तीत्यत्र विशेषः । स्पर्धायाः अङ्गत्वेन ३०तमे दिनाङ्के प्रातः षड्वादने "शास्त्रायणम्" इत्याख्यः विशिष्टः कार्यक्रमः कश्चन समायोजितः, यश्च संस्कृतशास्त्राध्ययनस्य प्रोत्साहनार्थम्, प्रचारार्थञ्च । अस्मिन् कार्यक्रमे सर्वेषामपि संस्कृताभिमानिनां युष्माकं भागग्राहः अतीवावश्यकः । यूयं सर्वेऽपि एतान् सर्वानपि कार्यक्रमान् सफलीकुर्वन्त्विति कर्नाटकसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयः आशेते ।

Karnataka Samskrit University was established in 2010 exclusively for the development of Sanskrit language. The University has been dynamically working towards the growth of Sanskrit higher education in the state offering courses from diploma level to PhD. It is aiming towards offering programs in all fields – language, literature, culture, tradition, Vedic studies, humanities, philosophy and sciences of different disciplines – with traditional profundity and modern approach.
This year, the above-mentioned competitions are being held under the competent guidance of Prof. Sri. K. E. Devanathan, an erudite scholar of Indian Philosophies working in this field for 3.5 decades and acclaimed by many leading Universities, Religious Institutions and Scholars throughout India, currently the Vice Chancellor of Karnataka Samskrit University, Bengaluru.
Central Sanskrit University, formerly Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, is a central university located in New Delhi, India, to promote Sanskrit. Established in 1970, it functions under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
It has assumed the role of a nodal body for the effective implementation of various recommendations made by the Sanskrit Commission set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Education in 1956 to consider the propagation and development of Sanskrit language and education in all its aspects. This year the above said competitions will be conducted under the able guidance of the visionary leader, a Shastra Scholar and an able administrator Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi, who recently took over as the Vice Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University.
